Our Philosophy

We believe that being overweight is not a character disorder or “all in one’s head.” In virtually all respects it is a rather typical medical problem. As with any medical problem, it can create health risks and impair the quality of life for the individual who suffers from it.

Some people have a genetic predisposition to be overweight, some have an underlying disease, and others have lifestyles that lead to excess weight. Regardless of the reason or reasons that someone is overweight, there is no doubt that any individual can permanently lose weight.

Every person with a weight problem is a human being to be respected and helped. We have only one mission: to develop the proper treatment regimen for you, assist and support you in every way, and celebrate with you when the goal is reached.
